Mobile equipment management

Scheduling follows the equipment, not the calendar

Trucks, loaders, drills. The maintenance cycle is driven by operating hours and by the window production leaves open. When the plan is built on the side, it's already wrong by Monday morning.

Today

01

The mobile plan lives in a file separate from the CMMS, maintained by a single person.

02

Availability conflicts, truck versus production dispatch, are discovered in the field.

03

Equipment-level usage history is hard to pull up when it's time to justify a cycle.

Consolidation

The mobile plan, synchronized with the CMMS and dispatch

Actual hours flow back in, production windows are visible in the same view, and the daily utilization rate reads at a glance. No more rebuilding the same plan three times a week.

Control

The conflict is resolved in one move, before it reaches the field

The planner sees the overlap appear, reassigns the window or the shop bay, and conflicts are re-detected automatically across the rest of the plan.

Three stages

What holds the scenario together

  1. CONSOLIDATION

    Mobile Gantt view

Units, operating hours, shop bays and production windows in the same view.

  2. DETECTION

    Resource and date conflicts

Overlaps, crews already committed, units expected at dispatch.

  3. SYNCHRONIZATION

Back to the CMMS and dispatch

The validated plan flows back with no re-entry, in both directions.

From plan to execution

The validated plan feeds the work order directly

Frequently asked questions

What we hear, and how we answer

We already handle this in Excel, and it works.

It works until the day the person who maintains the file is gone, or until a conflict turns up the day before the job. PlanMI doesn't replace the CMMS; it eliminates the shadow file.

We already use Prometheus or OneRiver.

Those tools cover generic ERP, but they don't distinguish mobile from fixed plant and they don't cover Deswik. Worth validating against your own ERP setup.

Our team isn't tech-savvy.

The interface is designed for a planner: a Gantt view and drag and drop, not one more complex system to learn.

How many Excel files live in your mobile plan right now?

Thirty minutes with your planner and your real data, and we'll see whether it holds up.
