Sustainability policy

Sustainable development is an absolute necessity

It's the first of our values, not a selling point.

Our policy

A living policy

Our policy is built around three objectives: reduce our operational footprint, design solutions with a positive impact for our clients, and improve our practices year after year.

It applies to both our offices, in Québec City and Abitibi, and to the design of our products. It's alive: it evolves with the company's growth and our clients' requirements.

Our three objectives

Reduce, design, improve

Objective 01

Reduce

Minimize our direct footprint: travel, and the digital and material consumption of our two offices.

Objective 02

Design

Build an environmental criterion into how we analyse and develop our solutions, for a positive impact at our clients' sites.

Objective 03

Improve

Advance our practices year after year, in step with our growth and our clients' requirements.

Our commitments

Principles we keep, not ones we display

Our name says it: a lichen comes out of a symbiosis, where each side brings what makes the whole last. We work the same way with your operations and their environment.

  • Reduce our operational footprint

Digital tools and remote work to limit travel, site visits planned and grouped, zero paper at the office.

  • Design for positive impact

An environmental criterion sits alongside performance and cost when we assess our solutions, with the benefits documented at our clients' sites.

  • Measure our emissions

Assess our carbon footprint and reduce it by leaning on remote work and cleaner technologies.

  • Choose responsible partners

Favour local suppliers where we can, and partners whose environmental commitments match ours.

  • Get involved in our communities

Contribute through philanthropy and volunteering, and support remote regions by hiring locally.

A compliance or environmental performance problem?

We treat it as an operational one: measurable, planned, tracked.
