We started by listening to the field. We never stopped
Lichens started from a simple observation: too many technology solutions are designed far from the mine, by people learning the trade on your budget. We work the other way around. The field first, the technology second.
Why "Lichens"
The word "symbiosis" came out of studying lichen
Lichen is the result of a lasting association between a fungus and an alga. The study of lichens is in fact what led to the scientific concept of symbiosis. Two different organisms that, together, become capable of what neither could do alone.
For us, Lichens is far more than a name. It is a philosophy of collaboration with our clients to create high-value projects and products.
